It was a pleasure to have met you in January, Leilani, and to have talked to you about your art and inspiration. The piece that I took with me to Canada is unique and will be cherished. You have expressed your feelings and your thoughts through your jewellry and that inner beauty is there for all to see. The person that you are and the creations that you bring forth are one and the same. To have one of your necklaces is like having a part of you. probablemente esta decisión que tomaste en tu vida, es la más bella, pues le infundes a las piezas el cariño y amor y tu personalidad ha cambiado por las expresiones de personas foráneas.
Te felicito grandemente, eso es crecimiento espiritual y traduces esto a tus creaciones. La contaminación viene con el comercializar con el fin de obtener beneficios económicos, que todos los queremos, pero lo importante que buscas, como lo he visto por los correos y creaciones es que tu trabajo refleje tu sentir.
Me siento orgullosa por la persistencia y saber cual es la meta que tiene Leilani. Ha sido un trabajo exahustivo, pero siento que para mi hija, es muy satisfacorio realizar lo que le gusta.
Sigue adelante, hija mía, que todavía hay mucho camino que recorrer, con la ayuda de Dios, todo se puede lograr.

About 6 weeks ago, I received your beautiful jewelry from friends that visited Panama (Ryan and Gillian). You wrote a note dated March 16th to me and it was enclosed in the burlap bag with your pieces. It was a nice surprise to receive this gift!

Asistí a un evento luciendo el collar LEI y sus accesorios, fue una misa de las exalumnas de Las Esclavas que cumplían 50 años de graduadas.
El grupo de asistentes lo constituían unas 14 señoras, y al momento de saludarme, TODAS Y CADA UNA de ellas mostró su admiración por el collar!
A mí me encantó usar estas piezas por vistosas y originales, y ya estoy viendo en mi closet con qué otros conjuntos de trajes me las puedo poner!

Oh my gosh, Leilani – my mother-in-law absolutely LOVES her butterfly necklace!!! She hasn’t taken it off except to shower. After she opened it, her eyes just lit up and she smiled from ear to ear. None of her other gifts compared in her reaction – not even close! I wrote her a little letter about you and your art and your good heart – she read that the next day and cried. It means a lot to her, and I know it is bringing her much joy.
